Wednesday Inspiration

How niiiiiiice is this ?

Happy Wednesday !

We (well actually the girls only) are enjoying the last week
of summer vacation.
Next week is back to school, back to our routines.
And it looks like we are going to have some changes to our daily
routines. But in a good way.

And it is getting a little (fall)chilly by us too.
I'm not ready for fall weather yet.
Well, maybe I am. Just love the fall and all the things that comes
with that time of the year.

Have a great day my lovely readers :o)

Time for my morning coffee......

Movie Night in our backyard

(taken with my cell phone)

We had lots of fun and "hygge" at our movie night.
The kids (and the adults) loved it.
We had a concession stand with candies, sodas, chips and popcorn. All the
yummy stuff you need when you watch a movie :o)
And after the movie we had ice cream and made s'mores.

More yummy (...and sorry parents :o))

We enjoy hosting this event and we have decided to turn backyard movie
night into  an annual summer event at our house.
And I am already looking forward to next year !

Looove that carpet !

How are you guys doing?
I'm good, just a little busy preparing for our backyard movie night on Friday.
We are setting up a large screen in our backyard and have invited friends and
family over for a movie night :o)
And we are picking a movie for all ages so we can all enjoy !
I will make sure to have my camera out and take some pictures for you :o)

Have a great Wednesday

Summer Update

A little summer update from our little house.

Yes, we are enjoying our summer.
Ada is in summer camp and having fun.
Naisha got herself a job at Cold Stone Creamery, so she is working as
much as she can over the summer before her last year of high school starts.

We had our family vacation (17 people total!) in July and we
made a trip to Hersey Park. Lots of fun. Nothing better then family time.
Besides visiting the park and try all the roller coasters (not me)
we did some zip-lining and visited the Amish area.

Ada's birthday was last weekend and we celebrated her reaching her "double
digits". Yes, she turned 10 and she had a bowling party
with her friends. She was so happy.

We still have the the month of August to enjoy.
School does not start until September 7.
We have another little family get-a-away planned for
August, just not sure yet where we are going, only thing for sure is
that the hotel needs to have a pool :o)

Hope you are enjoying your summer too :o)
I will be back soon....
